A downloadable game

Berserkard is a card game where a furious berserker has to escape from a maze.

You cannot control him directly but , using some Control Cards, you can keep him on the right track.

But be wary because if you run out of Control Cards he won't listen to you anymore and soon he will be lost in the maze.

This is my submission for GMTK GameJam 2020, fitting the theme "Out of Control".

Level 1: I reached the finish and died, twice. Nothing immediately happens when I reach the exit so I got impatient, clicked and died because I ran out of moves. It would be less confusing if it just said level completed as soon as I stop moving.

Level 2: I walked up and turned right and touched the gate and the game broke and my browser asked if I wanted to kill the process. Maybe that's a browser issue only but I'm on mac so this is my only way of playing.

It didn't really come together, keep at it

Thank you for your feedback, I'll fix the level completed state right away.

About the browser freezing it's because of a bug I'm looking into, if you want to see the next levels you can check the executable version where this bug doesn't cause freezing.

Thanks again for your time and feedback!

Interesting concept, but the game froze when I tried to smash the wall.
I got a bit confused at the start, but then later figured it out. The first level was a bit hard because the card is something out of control, so I had to repeat until I get the right cards.

A really good concept but the game just freezes sometimes

It would also be good to have custom buttons and another font, defaults rarely look good

You are totally right, I had little time to polish it but it really need an upgrade in that sense. I'll be working on it: thank you for your feedback!
